02/11/2012 MK Dons v Cambridge City FA Cup first round with 500 people in attendance Dele Alli made his first team debut as a subsitute. Almost 5 years to the day and Dele Alli scored 2 to beat the Current Champions League holders Real Madrid with a powerhouse performance that has raised his stock even further.

However, this was not just Dele Alli this was Spurs showing such domination which has announced them emphatically as being the real deal. The only negative from the game was that they should have won 4-0 rather than 3-1 nevertheless the result will still reverberate round Europe.

England fans should rejoice that Spurs have a distinctly English heart with Kane, Alli, Trippier and 21 year old Harry Winks all showing a star turn.

Now the question is how far can they go, they are showing that they are the new force in North London but this can not be enough, they must now go on and win trophys to cement this title. Everything is ready for Spurs with one of the most exciting squad in Europe along with a manager revered far and wide together with the new stadium on the horizon this is a trifecta so potent that anything less than Premier league and Champions League titles would be an underachievement.

So the writing is now on the wall Spurs must now stand up and follow up, the Pride of North London no more, the pride of England awaits.
