Premier League Weekend Wonders
After a great weekend of football and 26 goals it is time to pick out the best performers from the weekend that you can use for the midweek Champions League competitions in Yahoo! Daily Fantasy.
Where else to start than the Egyptian winger who has now scored 14 goals in 18 appearances since moving to Liverpool, in the process breaking Robbie Fowler’s record with his ninth in his first 12 league appearances, one more than the legendary striker managed. With 23.40 points thanks to two great goals his salary has increased accordingly to £25 but with Liverpool in form and a big match against Sevilla at home another big performance is likely.
Sticking with Liverpool, the little magician was back to his scintillating best, in his first game back from (another) potentially dubious back injury, Philippe managed one goal and one assist from his new favourite deeper position. 22.35 points and £23 salary, this would be a good addition to the fantasy squad.
‘Pogback’ was back in full flow dancing celebrations and all, 1 goal and 1 assist produced 18.20 points whereas his salary is relatively low at £20. With a fixture against Basel away where Utd should do the business this would be a nice little addition
Kevin De Bruyne
There are not many more superlatives that can be used when talking about Man City this season with Martin Keown claiming that they will be the new invincibles this season. De Bruyne is certainly at the heart of this, scoring a stunning goal in an all round fantastic technical display. Feyenoord at home is the next fixture who City should sweep aside with not too much difficulty. At £24 salary if you’ve got the money include him.
