Gameweek 28 Player Picker - image

Gameweek 28 is upon us and again we’re doing all the hard work for you! We’ve trawled through the bookies odds and bring you the 5 players you should have in your team this week based on implied probability of scoring/clean sheets etc. Let us know if you win any comps and earn some cash!

Van Dijk

What better to start than at the back and with the record breaking Dutchman. Liverpool are top of the table in clean sheet odds as they are facing West Ham at Anfield. Van Dijk may be a touch on the expensive side but the potential of clean sheet and also his attcking fortitude would make this a good shout as a captain this week

Evans

Ok so this might be a risky one due to certain taxi stealing escapades however the fact that West Brom come in just below LFC in the clean sheet odds mean that the bookies may believe that the Captain will indeed be playing which would make the Irishman a shrewd inclusion playing a struggling Huddersfield at home.

Mahrez

So to the business end and all seems to be forgiven in Leicester after the January transfer window debacle. Mahrez is in great form and has produced 8 goals and 7 assists and with a home game against Stoke - 19th in the table and not in good form, this could be a happy day at the King Power.

Kane

Top of the pops again this week and this is getting kind of boring but the geez just can’t stop scoring so what can we do. Away to Crystal Palace shouldn’t prove to tricky and Spurs will be looking for redemption for a weak showing against Rochdale in the FA cup. Id expect the leagues top scorer to bag another this weekend so get him in the mix.

Salah

The fight for Golden boot is on and again another regular fixture in this feature is the mercurial Egyptian. West Ham should get turned over if Liverpool are anywhere near the best. The fact that they’ve been away for warm weather training and been off since the thumping victory against Porto should add to this and nobody would be surprised if Liverpool get a big number again with Salah in a starring role.
